About George
George has been playing and writing since the late sixties. He traveled from Haight Ashbury to Woodstock and back to Squaw Valley making music while enjoying life. He is now working full-time on his music and enjoying it more than ever before.
His mother passed when he was 8 and his father when he was 15 so he was forced to live on his own from a very young age with the streets and Mother Nature as his teachers. He believes that if one listens closely, there is a lot to learn from them.
He trusts that there are many good people in the world and, one should learn quickly, that they are the ones you want to hang with, no matter which side of the tracks they come from.
This music is from his heart, street experience and Old Mother Nature.
“I can look back and say that I have made the best out of the hand I was dealt.”
Songs/Writings
Please note that all of the audio and video recordings have been taped in analogue and have not been mastered or edited. Volume may need to be adjusted for each song.
George tends to spend more time writing/composing than editing/recording and would like to think that the content should be able to stand on its own. This may change sometime in the future but right now, what you hear is just what he is playing.
The writings are an accumulation of his thoughts and experiences – enjoy.
“Although you are just passing through, step inside for a bit, as you just never know what you will find.”
A Note from George
Thank you to everyone for reading and listening to my experiences. It was the support from my family and friends that allowed this website to be launched.
